
Lipinki's gmina (gmina is a primary rural unit in Poland) is situated in the south part of Poland, the south-east part of Malopolskie Voivodeship, near the border of Podkarpackie Voivodeship. The Lipinki's gmina is composed of six villages: Lipinki (as a center of local authorities), Wojtowa, Pagorzyna, Kryg, Rozdziele and Bednarka. The total area is 66,14 sq km, and the population is approx. 6.850.
The south part of our land is situated in the Beskid Niski Mountains, and the north part in the Karpackie Highland. The central river of the area is the Lipianka (also called the Libuszanka) with springs at the slopes of the Magura Watkowska chain in The Magurski National Park. Slopes of mountains and hills are forested, 31 % of the total area is covered by forest. There are also beautiful, natural meadows in the valley of the Lipianka river, full of rare vegetables.
